So . . . is 'the circle' where the meet people meat?
abe Vinshar here. I'm not saying fifty crits is nice. I think it dumb. when a writer gets a crit he should be able to work it into his script.. How could a person do this with fifty. Hell I have trouble with a couple why not everyone crit for crit
Don't mean to upset the apple cart we need this circle. I got a great crit the other day... Please think on this Vinshar

ade I think the cricle is great and much needed but waiting a year before i get fifty crits on a single chapter is too long for me. i think there should be 5 pieces randomly drawn a week, and 10 people should be randomly assigned to each piece...that cuts the turnover rate down to 2.5 months
if what you are going for is something epic like 50 comments on a piece, then i sipmly don't have the patience
sorry

Thanks for the welcome. I read your work and enjoyed it. I am very anxious to start rolling here!
Ade,
Good morning. Not to poo poo the idea of the circle but I think two things might happen.
1) First week 30. second week 15. third 5. fourth week 3. This is what happened in flash fiction fridays.
2) 50 comments is a lot. I saw on some other sites. a lot of writers lock their pieces after about 20 because they just can't absorb all the info.
3) it will take a year for the last member to get their crit.
Anyway just some thoughts.

Egypt was HOT, which made it a bit grueling / difficult to get around. Quite different than I expected/am used to in terms of culture, to say the least. Women are still considered second-class citizens and treated as such.
On an unrelated note, I loved reading "Pen". So good to see new stuff from you!

Feud: Thanks. That means a lot to me from a person with creds like yours - I am flattered!
Well, I'm off, first thing tomorrow. Looking forward to reading some new stuff from you in March, when I return. Until then...
Write, write, write!
See you soon.
