although he knew I meant well he didn’t care if that game was won
for him. He wanted nothing more then for those boys to be able to
experience it. I smiled back and turned to the office window. The
boys were filing out of the locker room heading off to have their
fun on a Friday night.
“Worst Monday of the year.” I said looking ahead a few days.
“Always is,” he replied, “always is.”
