hi, anna--
thanks for your comment! i'm glad you enjoyed the aliens-taking-over story.
you've given me a boost today, when i gotta pull six stories outta...somewhere...right away! wish me luck. bwaaa!
Okay I've figured out a solution: I just rolled 4 chapters into 1 for Island Conspiracy. LOL I know this is cheating but I don't care! ANyways, I'm actually working on Chapter 7, but haven't yet copied it to my laptop. (It was written on my typewriter). Check by again and let me know what you think! 5th chapter coming soon I hope!
~Fainne

thanks for the crit! i see what you mean about describing the underground room more- i think im gonna add the roots and dampness. also, im fixing some of the POV issues, and including some character history.
thanks again!~Fainne
ps: im also dealing with time and place things. 3rd chapter coming soon! keep checking
hey anna-
recently published my first work: Island conspiracy prologue, chapters 1+2. please read and give me feedback!
~Fainne
ps: i absolutely loved Hearts and Minds (the part that i read)
Happy to help out a fellow Seattle-ite.
I understood more after I read the next chapter, which I plan to critique soon, if that's okay. I do love your style and can't wait to read more.
Hey Anna! Wanted to say thanks for your comments. The pink triangle is a symbol in the gay community. Normally I'm not fond of the "you" thing either, but it was in response to the thread I originally posted it in. I"ll change it later....donno when!
hi, anna--
thanks so much for your comments for 'scratching at the surface'! i had a lot of fun writing it, and i'm glad you enjoyed it.
a few people have mentioned the whole building super time lapse issue, and i agree, too--i need to fix that. thanks for your advice and wonderfully encouraging critique. yay!
Thank you very much for your comments on "Likened to Something, At Least"! I'm happy that you liked it. I wasn't actually referencing "The House of Asterion" by Jorge Borges, but it is one of my favorite stories and I hope that you have the time one day to Google it, as it's freely available all of the web! Thank you again.
