Ben, your critique was greatly appreciated and very helpful to bring clarity to this story. I've made some changes and have been strongly considering your other suggestions for the next edit. Hope the changes improve the story. Let me know if you think of anything else. Bestest wishes.
Hey, could I join your Friday Flash Fiction circle? I'd really like to start writing flash fiction and I figure reading it is a good start. I'm more than happy to do three crits a week until I start writing
hey, ben--
thanks for the critique! you've given me new things to think about, stuff no one's brought up so far--appreciate it.
Whoops! Sorry about that. I will make sure to fix that the next time I post it. I think my revision of Regression is going to make it much different. I tried to force certain turns of events to change the chapter outcome and it ended up coming across as being contrived. I need to let it sit a while to decide how to fix it. Thanks again, though!
I just enjoyed Infinite Twilight. I'd heard about it on the forums where people gushed about it. I really enjoyed the end. I could totally feel a connection with the character. You seem quite adept at generating a connection with your character's place (surroundings) and (me) the reader. Good job.,
I agree with your crit on Dreams Ch 3... celebrating my first 30 days on Scrib today... i was going for fugue state in 2nd person, like one would blurt it out, but as I grow more comfortable with these fairly freshly laid down words, I think I will settle on staying in a consistent POV. Your crit was not only helpful, but once again, you made me laugh aloud.
In answer to your question, I have been reading some of your flash fiction. It's well written. I've not read it all, yet. Still working on that. Also, I've loved several of your critiques given to people.
ben - taking a long break between drafts makes sense. Glad to know we are seeing the same things. It's a wonderful work. One thing I like about your work is its variety.
Hi,
I was wondering if you could add me into Flash Fiction Fridays?

Please and thank you,

- Yelena
Hi, ben! I know I promised you a look at my novel, I've just been, well, off radar. Well tomorrow or this weekend you'll see "Spider-Girl: Model Citizens". Peace.
