Hello Mr. Nolta. i was wondering if you knew any good books to suggest for me, namely ones that are in the vein of philosophy and science? intellectual fiction, if you will? i don't know, i just need new authors
Brandon -- in my opinion, Shades of Grey is Fforde's best yet. By a long shot.
And if you haven't read any of Eoin Colfer's standalones (Airman, The Wish List, etc), you're missing out.

I love The Legacy of Heorot, it's great I keep finding books I love that no one else ever seems to have heard of. this book is sitting at the head of my bed and I read it when I need something "good" to read. It's one of my "go to" books!
Yes the Book of Sorrows- I liked it as well
Apologies for the double posting on your "Longevity" blog.
I am working out the formating of comments, critiques, & posting.
Thanks for the great read!

Feels strange to become a fan of someone without any posted work but you cite Farscape, BSG and Hitchhikers Guide so you may consider me a fan.
Hi:
As a poet I connected with your piece. Poetry is written for the sake of writing not for recognition, all though, it would be nice.
Thanks for putting into prose what I have thought about in poetic terms.

| About Me: | What's to tell? I'm a writer; I'd make it all up anyway. |
| Interests: | Lots. |

That's just the stuff I got paid for; throw in a master's thesis of short stories and my recently completed first novel (thanks, NaNoWriMo), and there's enough verbiage to choke a herd of horses. |

| Favorite TV Shows: | Battlestar Galactica, Eureka, House, Supernatural, The Shield, Farscape...picking up a theme here? |
| Favorite Quotes: | "Chance favors only the prepared mind." - Louis Pasteur "No one in this world has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people." - H.L. Mencken "Your Highness, I have no need of this hypothesis." - Pierre Laplace (when asked why his latest treatise made no mention of God) |
