Thanks for the welcome!
Hi Brian,
I just wanted you to know that work has been crazy so I printed out the fourth chapter of HIll's. I am hoping to get a good read of it today and be able to post something either today or tomorrow. Sorry it has taken so long.

hmm, soul poetry is an interesting suggestion. I will give it some thought. I had toyed with the idea in the past but came to the conclusion that all poetry is in a sense soul poetry and therefore expressive. I think that both head and gut poetry can fall under soul poetry. However, your mention of it made me think that perhaps it is merely that the three can overlap. But I suppose there could be a distinct branch of soul poetry in the way that there are distinct branches of head and gut poetry...
thanks for your thoughtful suggestions for the 'whippoorwill' story, brian--much appreciated!

Brian! I sooo tried not to use the boring word. I really think you have an awesome concept..I just think the narration is taking over a bit. I am excited to see more. I am not sure about using me as a barometer. I happen to have a slow day today - but sometimes I don't get to avidly peruse the site for a day or two. I will try to keep up and not disappoint
Thanks for the critique on "Samuel", Brian! It means a lot. I'm pleased that you liked it.
