I've been reading a lot of things on this site, but when I ask to see yours, many of then say the "Uh-Oh" thing. What do I have to do?
Hello Brittany,
I can tell you're dying to write more Flash Fiction. Check out my recent post on the forum for how I can help you do that (do I sound enough like an infomercial?) Anyway, I would love it if you would come aboard the new FFF.

No, I didn't think about submitting anything for the monthly contest. I think I just wanna get my stuff up and then maybe submit something later. Anyway, it seems like everybody on this site is lightyears ahead of me, in terms of talent. I don't know what I would submit and if I did submit something, it would need years worth of editing and...yea. It would be pointless for me to submit something, I think.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to critique my stuff, I really appreciate it and I'd be stupid not to consider your comments if I edit what I posted already. Just a heads-up: I'll be publishing a short story... eventually, haha. I'm easily distracted, so I'll tell you when I publish it. Thanks again!
Ding Dong. I got a couple of pieces published and I was hoping to hear from you whenever you have time. Hit me up, homegirl!
Hey you.
I finally finally got back around to not neglecting Scribophile. Now if only I could get the ambition to write or edit something, or at least post a couple more critiques. I have writer's block AND reader's block. Eek. (Just wanted to say hello. )
Heya, Brittany. Just got back from commenting on "Why I didn't finish my essay." Do you wanna read any of my works? Just tell me!
Hi Brittany, I just posted a revamped version of Vigil Auntie, it is a chapter now, thinking of expanding it into something bigger. Would love to hear what you think o f it.

Heya, Brittany! I would love for you to comment on my story Heart Brek when you get the chance that is!
Hey Brittany,
We've made some changes to the FFF. Hopefully, it will make for more and better critiques. Come on by and tell us what you think.

About Me
| Occupation: | Undergraduate |
| About Me: | I'm going through a quarter-life crisis. Yes I stole that from a new TV show. That's how hip I am. |
| Interests: | I want to graduate from college so I can go into publishing(books), move out of the state, travel the world ceaselessly, apply (and hopefully being accepted) into the Peace Corps. I also have a novel in me that won't be ready for at least another decade. But once it pops out, I'm totally going to rock the world. Also, I like to listen to a variety of music and experience new bands/shows, etc. And I plan on always being that way. I also got a tattoo awhile ago so I'm pretty committed. |
| Publications: | "Dear Dr. Fisch: Children's Letters To A Holocaust Survivor," Robert Fisch, 2005, poem The Advocate, assorted articles and columns |
| Favorite Books: | I read a lot of German books. I love Rebecca Gable's historical fiction Bildungsgeschichten. For old stuff I go for Goethe and the gang. I love Herman Hesse and Erich Kaestner(especially his first adult novel Fabian). As far as other authors I like...back in middle school I read Tad Williams and skipped the evil villain chapters. Nowadays I have been trying to expand into literature that I don't read in class and have come across a few things from Italo Calvino that make me laugh/cry/etc. |
| Favorite Quotes: | I forgot it. |
| Loves: | Turning everything into adorable cute phrases, messing up grammar rules, explicating literature and playing fussball. Also bullsh*ting in class when I haven't read the material. And sales. Sometimes my voice is ok at singing, too, learning how to be a soprano (eep). I can strum a guitar. But it's more dis"chord" than a chord. I draw ok sometimes. If I have the patience for it. And I am really good at cheering people up. |

I actually handed this in a couple years ago with a late essay. The prof didn't really have a sense of humor. Or believe me.
