LOL. I just noticed your profile page. We have a lot in common. 
Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you on your question from the book discussion forum. I found Daisy Miller to be somewhat pleasant, although, I wasn't moved by it. I was a little put off by the way he portrayed "Americans" via his Daisy Miller character but I reckon that was his intent. All in all it was OK.
