well I didn't exactly take to Bag of Bones, but I prefer plot over characters. the flow of the book is in waves, it starts off great then gets cold very fast. though he wants you to believe something big is going to happen, he ultimately backs down. i only read up to page 150, but if a book hasn't started its plot by then, well... something's wrong.
