I posted a poem if you want to crit it dear! It's nice to have a good place to post some works. Maybe I can dredge up my older stories now!
Thanks so much for the really in depth critique! I found it really helpful, I'm planning on implementing some of the changes you recommended.
Thank you I like a lot more to.
St. Clair, Thanks for your words. It helped me alot!
Hey, St. Clair. This is a.mscifi and just wanna say your poem was the bomb! In the words of the people on BET: "This one's Rated Next!"
Thank you very much for your thoughtful input
Hello, St. Clair. Thanks for your critique in Heart Break. Sorry that I have not done any edits on it yet, and come to my profile and read Heart of Ice. I hope that you enjoy it and maybe become a fan!
hey hey! read my works-- Chronicles of Odralon (just the prologue); Island Conspiracy (prologue, chapters 1+2); and poem Lost Sister
Thanks for your critique. No I haven't study poetry or music, except for in 8th grade english class, maybe a couple high school english classes.
And no there was no word missing. Each stanza has 10 syllables in it, no matter how many words.
The guy said it in his sexiest voice, trying to sound impressive, like any guy would. (Or at least a lot of guys)
There is no way I could even make that poem possibly even any better than it already is. You are right, it is your personal preferance & I respect that. Editors loved it & hounded me to accept the award, (yea contest) but I will not go read anything in front of tons of strangers.
Every word in that poem is there for a reason. Either it fits in the syllable range or it does that, plus rhyme. No other words can replace the ones already there.
And you didn't have to tell me about poetry.com, that's where the poem is published.
And that about sums it up. Thanks for taking the time to critique it.
