oooooh! well, nanowrimo is short for National Novel Writing Month--every november, writers from all over write 50K words on a new novel. it's pretty crazy, but fun, and if you're interested in writing novels you get a LOT of work done!
hey, emily!
so glad to hear from you.
thanks for your comments on my christmas story--i agree, the action feels somewhat like everyone's standing around waiting for me to tell them what to do. i'm glad you liked the story otherwise.
are you thinking about participating in nanowrimo this year?
hi, ems--
thanks so much for your suggestions ('moving target'! with poetry, i tend to throw it out there and then have trouble refining, so i appreciate the directions you've given me to fiddle.
Hello Emily,

I just got to visit Australia last year. It was a beautiful country. Welcome to Scribophile.
