Congrats on the publication! You've got a real snap to your prose...keep up the good work!
You got published? Great for you!! Keept up the work, Emma, and I'm glad I was able to help
WOOHOO!!! congratulations, emma!! how freaking exciting!!
you deserve cake. lots of it. with ice cream. yay!!!!
Actualy, the hardest thing about that piece was that I kept getting confused as to who was saying what. I eventually had to label the dialogue so I wouldn't forget and contradict myself.
Hi Emma, thanks for your citique! For Zeno (whose name I misspelled, oops), check: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zeno%27s_paradoxes The basic idea is that to get anywhere you have to first go halfway there. It's just recursion taken to the extreme. I'll go back and take out those "guess"es and "mean"s, since they are pretty vague.
Jeeze, congradulations! That is really exciting! I drink to your success!
Thanks! And I agree, St. Augustine's beautiful. I've been here for 8 years now and can't imagine being as happy anywhere else! And I've lived in other places. Come back down, always new things to see! (and ghost tours to go on...)
you're welcome! thanks for the fabulous blogging email.
(i'll let you know where i decide to set up. )
Thanks for the critique, Emma! Really appreciated. The narrator's gender wasn't really intentionally vague, but I can see where that would come from. The pink phone is a bit of a giveaway. Anyway, thank you very much! I'll take your points into consideration.
Hey Emma,
I hope you're enjoying Scrib. I see you've dived right in. Excellent. I hope you stick around.

homicidal psycho jungle cats! awesome!! (are you more calvin-y or hobbes-y? )
i've begun accumulating names of *free* sites for bloggers (tripod.com, blogger.com, wordpress.com, outblogger.com)...have you any favorites? others i don't know about? how easy is the blogspot? (if you like, my email: lauriemariepee@aol.com)
nanowrimo is short for 'national novel writing month'--every november, thousands of people get 'together' and grind out 50K words in 30 days. it's a unique experience, i gotta say. quite liberating. if you're curious, check them out at nanowrimo.org! i'd participate this year, but i'm still editing last year's novel. (my screen name there is 'lala68', if you want to peek.)
hi, emma--
