Discussion

***No truer words have been written... I read this piece several times, it seemed to sink in further with each reading. I admit I'm not much of a poet, I think I'm too long winded for that. I admire anyone who can express themselves and create feelings with so few words. They seem like words to live by...mind if I do? I hope that you continue to write and inspire the ones fortunate enough to read your work...I know I look forward to reading more. Keep up the good work...***

IN my thougts and opinion, though this work was a bit redundant, this still was inspirational.Found

This was one of my favorite poems that I have actually ever read in my life. Good job.

You must excuse the fact, Jim, that I am a student of religion, so I end up relating basically everything to that. But I've been thinking about how good your poems really are. At first blush, they always seem too simple to me, but on the other hand, they really connect to everyone because of their simplicity. And still they are far from simple to live, but in fact they can be lived as the dear Rusti Fae pointed out. It reminds me of the biblical book of Proverbs in that way (there the religious student comes out). At first proverbs seem to be common sense, and in a way they are, but they also have a depth to them that makes meditation worthwhile.

Once again I love how you structure your lines--using one set of lines with active verb commands and the other set of lines setting the conditions. Great job!
