Forgive my being dilatory in writing this. First, thanks for defending "Vehicular Homicide" after Calliope's critique. I thought she just didn't like the language, but this kind of loyalty from a stranger is unusual, and much appreciated.
Second, you are right about the term twencen. It is very chic in some science fiction to use the term and i've just gotten in the habit of using it. In the context of my remarks about your poem, you're also right-it merely refers to the 20th century without connotation.
