hey, jon--
you are so welcome! i'm glad i helped.
sooo, you gonna be able to post in the flash fiction circle soon? you keep thinking up these great ideas that end up more involved than you intended...you and your big brain. sheesh.
Thanks for your critique Jon. It's so interesting to see what everybody likes and dislikes about the work up there..
Hello Jon,

Thanks for looking at my poem. I appreciate your comments. I've been ruminating on the idea for about 4 or 5 months and when I sat down to write it took about 2 days from writing the first line to tweaking it for (hopefully) the last time. I appreciate your positivity, sometimes we all just need a little of that.

dang, jon. you make me sound all smart & stuff. thanks!
i love poetry with strong imagery, so i guess i'm drawn that way when i attempt it myself--i'm so glad it struck you! yay! thank you for your feedback!
Thanks for the re-read! That's a good point. I'll have to make sure I dno't overdo it.
Thank you for your critique

Your suggestions for the ending made me think perhaps to make this piece part of a larger work...

I'll have a go and see where I end up

Hi again. I've re-worked Torvald's Troubles a bit. If you have free time, I'd appreciate input on the changes. Thanks!
Thanks, Jon! That critique helps a lot. I'll have to find something that'll keep with the rhyme scheme to replace "mead".
Hey! Thanks for helping me with my poem! I'm definitely going to call it the Shrike Method when I present it to the class, by the way.
woohoo!! (fair warning: i say that a lot.)
i'm glad my comments were helpful to you.
