No problem, I know you were just trying to help, and brutal honesty can be a virtue. In the future, though, remember that giving detailed suggestions for improvement is a virtue, too. If you know something's wrong, letting the writer know how to do what's right is helpful. I just hope your experience with that story doesn't prevent you from reading my other writings.
