Hello Martina,
Coming from a real poet (you) I must thank you for your kind critique of my humble effort. I don't have the foggiest how to write "poetry". When I was a kid...if it rhymed it was poetry; that's the sum total of my skill level. My poems are limited to nonsense rhyme, of which I have quite a few. Anyway, thank you once again.

to answer your question about the cursing, different characters express themselves in different ways. vincent's a desperate guy in a desperate situation, and excessive language felt appropriate to me. sorry if it bothered you. :0 i'm glad you felt the story worked otherwise--thanks for reading!
