Tell your friend to keep writing and tweaking that story.
Hi:
Glad you found some use in my comments and ideas.
I'd love to read it again once you do the revision.
Did you ever think of trying to write it like a personal essay and sub it to one of those anthology presses like Chicken Soup or something? They're always looking for stories.
Anyway - good luck.

No problem, glad I could help a little. Hopefully we'll see more from you soon!
Thank you for your crit of Mother's Harvest. I see how some of the sentences anticipating the ending can be disruptive of the flow but unfortunately they need to be there..hmm, maybe I could tweak them a bit...
And as far as her motives, well she's clearly insane, that's what all the previous hints try to show. I guess it didn't come through as well as I would have wanted it to...
Anyhow, thanks for the honest feedback, it is appreciated.

Wow, Mauve--writing from India! That makes your writing (and reading) all the more remarkable. I guess in a way I didn't know that immediately because then I might have "let you off the hook" on some things...which you clearly (and bravely) don't want, since you express your interest in really thoughtful critiques. I will be sure to keep an eye out for your future writing.
Hi Mauve! Thanks so much for critiquing "Three Little Monkeys." I appreciate all the input I can get, and yours just made my day!
Knock knock! I got a song published called "Without an Angel".
Hey Mauve, I'm new here too, so welcome...the piece you critiqued was literally written in seven minutes on a break at work, lol, so it's supposed to sound rushed!!
Mauve, the piece I wrote wasn't a poem. It was an r&b song. I'm not mad if you think it was garbage. Thanks for coming to read my song and welcome to the website. Peace!
