when i wrote this, i was trying to get down that groundless feeling of drifting when starting over--i should probably work on that.

Thank you for your critique of my poetry items. I appreciate that you seemed to like them. You inquired about the teardrop and the colors for "Internal Eternal Questions". The purpose was to show that the entire stream was an internal reflection of what was going on while the outside was partaking in a normal activity. It's that quiet moment at the bonfire/campfire when you are all alone and you just kind of zone off....
Anyway, I get a little crazy with that kind of stuff sometimes. I hope that helps answer your question.

About Me

Occupation: ex-Student from the University and an eternal student of life.
About Me: I just graduated college with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and literature. I hope to continue my studies in the near future; my long term goal is to earn a Doctorate in Literature and become a professor, hopefully leaving enough time for me to write on my own as well.
Interests: I can sum up my activities in 3 words: work, sleep, and play: this includes a passion for
philosophy, reading avidly, music, writing, poetry (digging especially the Beat Generation)
Favorite Books: Anything by Dostoevsky or Mortimer Adler, "Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" and "You Shall Know our Velocity" by Dave Eggers....his short stories are also worth reading, the short stories of O. Henry, "On the Road" and "Dharma Bums" by Jack Kerouac, "Everything is Illuminated" by Jonathan Safran Foer (movie was pretty damn good to), poetry of Allen Ginsberg, especially "Howl"-it left an inprint on American culture, Dante's "Divine Comedy"-if you read it, get the Penguin edition and don't skip over
