You know what was so funny about it all? We became the best of friends afterward, as long as we were broke up, but friends til the end. Thanks so much for the critique on Mere Words! That is one of my faves that I have written too - I think because it is so close to home for me. I write to release emotions, good or bad, and by writing I get to let go of the pain and embrace the good and forever remember it. I don't think anyone but other writers can really understand that - but its true. I am big on good quotes too...I found this one the other day, though I don't know who said it, so I can't pay proper homage to its author "The character of personality is defined by those actions which we place enough value on to repeat" -- I thought that was a really good philosphy. Anyway - I am going to go through and critique some of your stuff in return. Thanks again!
