Why the dot's on Kenny's comment...is he....jealous of me?
That's awesome that you have a great guy in your life now! I look forward to more works from you!!
Hey Samantha!
It most certainly is a good life lesson - though a painful one. Works like this are hard to critique because generally the author writes them for themselves or people directly involved in the life lesson. I try to keep that in mind and not be so trivial and picky as I would be with a flash fiction peice. There are just different rules to it. I can't say I "enjoyed" the letter - it was obviously painful - but I did connect with it on a deep level and really - what else is there but to wrap your reader in whatever emotion you are expressing? It was well written and well expressed. You have a very natural voice in your writing that I did enjoy. Well met! Keep Writing! Let me know when you post new stuff. I will go in and read them for you
Hello, Samantha. You can come by my profile and read Heart of Ice. Just click my name, scroll down to recently publissed works and you will see it! Enjoy it as I will get the ending done!
hi, samantha--
i appreciate you reading my story and sending comments!
thanks, and sorry if it was a little disgusting.
thanks again for critiquing! I tried to make it a scheme of AABA, if that helps any, but I see your point. AABB is an easier to thing to accept, for sure, as most readers would agree. Anyway, I appreciate the things you say and hope to hear more as I write more!
Thanks for the critiques! I'm glad you like my work, it's always good to know that people enjoy reading what I have to say . And I like what you said about Cannibal Candy Shop, that's pretty much exactly what I was going for . Anyway, I look forward to hearing more from you and seeing the things that you've written as well! Keep in touch!
Thanks for the kind words, Samantha. Actually, "Coming After You" was originally a song I couldn't write music for that suited it, so for now it's words without music.
I wrote more of Black Heart of Deceit for you to read. Just click on my name, scroll down for recently published works, you will see it! Critique it too!
