Noo, Zed. It just means I'm out of the hang of writeringly critiquing work. : / In any language. And,
YES, I VOTED. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE MIRACLE OF THE ELECTORAL PROCESS?

oh ! i didn't know you're there for the year. wow. well, i'm glad you're getting something out of the experience. it's going to be weird to go back and still have you be abroad!
also, congrats on the spotlight! i like the piece. i don't know what to say about it aside from that though.

Zed, France is good! most things are fancier here, and of course, prices are higher. I'm speaking lots of French and looking to take a fluency test either at the end of the semester or when I get back to the states. Getting some certification couldn't hurt. ( :
How's Japan? Are you adjusting okay? What have you been up to writing-wise? I'm finding it really difficult to get myself time to write. Are you planning on a creative writing minor ( or major when they get that taken care of) ?

Oh Zed. You make me giggle. Of course I'll take a look at your poem. ^_^
Also, I'm glad you almost liked my little piece. I'm really, really happy that you couldn't tell what the constraint was (alphabet game: 26 sentences, each successive sentence beginning with the successive letter, so a, b, c, so on).
I'm sorry that the ending was so awful for you, but the "child" is your novel--your baby--your darling which you've spent years on and brought up more thoroughly than a child, and then she comes back all rejected (Purple? Get it? That's when you're supposed to begin to wonder)...Should I make it more apparent? And given that it's you and your novel, do the zebras still piss you off?

I think you managed to not tell me! Wow. The whole year? ...wow. Um, cool! What are you doing there--just doing an exchange program, or something more specific?
Also, thanks for your further input on my story ^_^. I think you hit the nail on the head for what needs to change.

I'm taking a creative writing class, and thought I might as well take the opportunity for an extra kick in the rear now and then. ^_^
Why haven't I seen you around this semester?

written anything new this summer, zed?
Hello, sir!
Zed,
I found your comments extremely useful. Heh, even if I didn't agree with everything you said. I think you understood where I was going with the piece and gave a very insightful critique. Good to see you on the site, man.

yeah, the summer before senior year of high school for english class. i think i was the only person in our class who chose it out of the three options. even though everyone besides myself and my english teacher adore it, there was just something about that book i really. really. didn't like.
i'm glad you like it though !
