		<description>Laurie, to answer your question, yes--if you critique a work that's not in the queue, including works in circles that haven't been on the queue or have already been on the queue, then you'll receive fewer karma points.&#160; But you'll still receive SOME karma points--in fact, the same amount that you've been receiving since we started awarding karma per word.
We think that this is a good middle ground between allowing people to critique whatever they want and yet emphasizing the review queue as the place to look to first.&#160; Again, we'll be keeping an eye on things, so you can expect more tweaks in the future.</description>

		<description>&#160;ooh, intriguing. my only kneejerk question is this: a few of the circles focus on weekly posting and reviewing of new short stories--if these stories haven't yet made it on the official queue, we'll kinda be left out a bit, yes? as far as karma goes? (and yes, i realize the irony in worrying about being compensated properly for karma. :D)
perhaps i'm mistaken and someone will correct my thinking on this. :)</description>
