WOW! How about how quick a little email to my favorite podcasts generates web presence? I emailed the ASFP podcast because I have been a faithful listener (back episodes and new) since March when my husband and I exchanged Ipods for our anniversary. I mentioned to him about this site because I have had such a wonderful experience being a part of it. Next thing I know, he reads my email on the show and plugs the site! I was thrilled! Those of you who are aspiring writers (both SCI FI /Fantasy and anything else) they often have very rich material for all writers both experienced and budding. Shaun (the host) is also great about responding even though he has a busier schedule it seems than most of our politicians. I hope you guys check out the podcast.

I was actually wondering the same thing. They were pretty scary. Except the Jeopardy one - I just recently (in the last few years) found out that Jeopardy is aired at a different time in different states, and I was seriously unnerved.

Cool, cool, cool. Do you think people actually used those analogies in their work, or did some bored, nerdy guys just sit around over mugs of coffee and come up with them in the late hours of the night?

I actually found out about scribophile by listening to "Adventures in Sci-Fi Publishing." It's a really great show that I can't recommend enough.
