interesting stuff stewart...definitely not a traditional comic
Hey guys. I do a webcomic (yes, on the internets) with my fiancée. She does the art, I do the writing. I think I have some pacing issues with the way I set up the action, and I've never much cared for the way I write dialogue.
If you guys are bored, you can check it out at marsonasstory.com I'd love some constructive feedback!
Hello a.mscifi and wildoatmeal and anyone else still hanging around here,
A.mscifi - I'm sorry to say I missed your joining and your post sorry I didn't respond earlier. I would love to read your Spider-Girl novel.
Wildoatmeal - welcome again. I
'm sorry to say that this circle hasn't been very busy as I haven't been able to find many comic scriptwriter's on site yet. The only piece that was on here was a long script of mine that I have since deleted. But if anyone is interested in writing a comic script I would love to critic it. Failing that we can all just hang out in this mini-forum and talk comics.
In that vein, the best books I've found for comic writing is Writers on Comics Scriptwriting series by Mark Salisbury. It is a series of long form interviews with almost every major comic writer of the last 30 years. Well worth the money.
