Thanks for all your hard work. I shouldacouldawoulda'd it this time, but I'm not gone yet. Hope there is another challenge soon, but wiht the school year coming up, maybe a slightly different pace or something would fit better with me. Teaching takes a lot of time and I will have a new school a new administration, a new subject, and a new and older crop of kids. So 30 in 30 is kinda hard to picture.

Anyway, thanks for putting it out there.

And thank you for your hard work.

Well the month came and went. Stories were written, some made it, others fell short. It doesn’t matter though. All who try won.

Now that you’ve experienced the task of trying to write something and forcing yourself through it just because you have to do it: Take a break and relax.

By now you must have learned a bit or two about developing an idea asap, and turning it in to a story. That in essence was what this was all about. Learning how to stop thinking and well, just write stuff down on the page.

Sorry for not posting mine. I wrote them in a note book with pen and paper. I was busy working on them that at the end of the day transferring them to the computer was the last thing I wanted to do. I am sure many of you had a moment or two when you came close to breaking. Where the idea of not writing seems like it’s a jolly good thing to do.

Finding that limit is useful. When you can find it, and push it back a little bit at a time, you’ll grow exponentially.

At the very least, you can now say “Hey, you wrote one story? Back in june I managed to write X stories…”

Well done indeed, dnm!

I got six, so I guess I'm the loser. It was fun, though, and helpful, I guess. Probably would not have been fun by the end, so I'm really amazed at dnm's stamina.

I only managed to get 8. But good work dnm! You must be on something pretty crazy.
