Hello, John P Finch. Welcome to the Short Story and Poems Haven, the home where you and other scribophiles can publish numerous works that consist of short stories, poems(Hence the title) novellas, and flash fiction! I am glad to have you on this circle and I look foward to reading some of your works that are posted on this circle. Feel free to browse on any works on this circle that you want to read and enjoy your visit here!

Why, Eli! I would be delighted to critique that story! Also I have a story that I currently being edited called "Sinclair's Love: Sinclair's Story 2" I hope that you are there to read it.

i'd appreciate it if someone could critique my short story "The Alley." Thanks

Hello, Racheal! I will comment and critique the story that you will post as soon as possible. In the meantime, why don't you read "My Boyfriend's A Vampire!". It is a fun read indeed, and pretty unfolding. I will probably enter it into an October Contest.

Hey, I'm new to the circle, and actually to scribophile itself. I'm working on a short story and am going to be posting bits at a time, but I would love and appreciate it if anyone would leaave critiques or comments. Thanks.

Hello, a.mscifi! You are welcome to do any work on this circle. I am still currently doing Heart of Ice part 5 and let's not forget the epilogue! I do want to publish this work sometime soon. But as for the last 4 parts of Heart of Ice, (this goes for anyone on the circle) I hope that you enjoy the interestingly angelic romance concept!

What it do, Ms. President? I wanna thank you for the invite to this circle.

Hi, I'm new, also. I enjoy reading most anything and I try to write lots of poetry and short stories as I have been for the last year. I don't care much for defining works by genres much. I'm about to enter a poetry contest going on in my area, I guess, and I'd like to learn more about writing and begin to develop into a good author.

hi, all!

i'm new to the circle. i've been writing short stories steadily for the past two years, and am working on my first novel at the moment. i love the freedom of genre fiction, and tend to mix genres: sf, horror, mystery...maybe even some romance. love it!

short stories give me great writing practice, and if i can build a solid portfolio, even better. i've just sold my first story to www.espressofiction.com, which has me giggly like a tiny monkey.

i'm glad to be here, and look forward to reading good stories and honing my skills further.

I'm a songwriter and fiction writer who has done novels, poetry, and short stories but here, in scribophile, I've found something you call flash fiction, which i'd never heard of before.  It's understandable that people are busy, busy, and maybe have shorter attention spans every day, so its emergence was probably inevitable.

Since short stories once weren't considered legit unless they were five pages long i've never written a one-page story, and looking at it, it seems so foreign it would be very hard to learn to write.  Fortunately i've seen some good ones as i browse through scribophile.

Hi! I'm new to this site...I've not posted any short stories yet. But I hope to!

hey, new friends.  just joined your group.  want to read and share each others work.  I don't know how to post some of my poems and short stories.  nor do I know how to find your works for comment.  can someone help me?  thanks
