Hello all! Brand new newbie ready and raring to write, read and learn to critique! This is pretty much my first account on any writing site, aside from NaNoWriMo, so it's a big, scary world out there. Still, I look forward to learning the tricks of the trade and hopefully quenching, but not dousing, my passion for writing (and purple prose! xD)!

Like Mechele, this is my first writing site. I've had one story critiqued so far and the feedback I got was very helpful. I think you'll enjoy it here. I've only been here a couple of weeks but I feel comfortable.

This is actually my second.  The first one, I stayed about a week.  I sort of feel I'm off to a slow start here, having this other full-time job-thing I need for my mortgage.  But, I plan to be here quite some time.
