The Scribophile Writing Academy is a collection of free writing resources produced by members of the Scribophile community who are writing professionals.
If you’d like to volunteer an article on a topic, please do so!
To maintain a level of quality in our Academy articles, we require that contributors meet at least one of these criteria:
Have an MFA in a relevant field; or
Be a professional educator, at any academic level; or
Be a professional editor; or
Have at least 3 professional publications; or
Have a combined critique reaction count of at least 500 (i.e. the sum of enlightening, constructive, like, etc.—check your profile page).
Articles in the Academy should not proscribe a certain point of view, but instead should present facts and let the reader decide.
Contributions to the Scribophile Writing Academy must be released to us under the Creative Commons Share-Alike License (which is the same license used by Wikipedia).
