Member-Sponsored Dog Tags and Camouflage Contest
|Deadline:||Feb 1, 2014|
Forbidden Lust is holding a contest to find works for our first anthology: Dog Tags and Camouflage. We're looking for romantic and erotic shorts about people serving in the military, be it current, in the past or even a fantasy or scifi army. The top three winners will be published in the anthology with the prize money being payment for first publishing rights. For more information or to view a copy of our sample contract, please visit www.forbidden-lust.com.
Winners have been announced! Log in to see them.
|1st prize:||$75 via PayPal and 15 karma points|
|2nd prize:||$50 via PayPal and 10 karma points|
|3rd prize:||$25 via PayPal and 5 karma points|
Entries must be received before midnight of February 1st (UTC time).
Entries must be between 2500-10k words per Scribophile's count.
Your entry must be previously unpublished. Only submit work you want published in the anthology.
Cash prizes are to purchase first publishing rights. If Foridden Lust's regular rate of $0.0075 per word is more than the cash prize, the winner will receive that amount instead.
Only one entry per author. Multiple entries will all be disqualified.
Work must have Public visibility on Scribophile until a winner is announced.
To enter the contest, post your work on Scribophile and check the box that says "Enter this work into the Member-Sponsored Dog Tags and Camouflage Contest". The system will automatically enter your work. You can see this checkbox until the contest deadline, which is in UTC time.
Entry is free, but you'll need karma points to post your work. You can earn karma points by writing critiques of work by other members.
If you have placed in a contest in the past with a particular piece, you may not resubmit that piece in other contests.
