Member-Sponsored Spooky Stories in a Flash Contest
|Deadline:||October 30 (11 days left)|
It’s October, the spookiest month of the year! I’m in the mood for some scary stories, just in time for Halloween. Tell me your most hair-raising, spine-tingling tales, and do it in a flash, 1,000 words or less. Anything goes, but I prefer subtle scares over the blood and gore kind of thing.
Spelling and grammar are important—the worst thing in a contest is reading a great story that is full of SP&G mistakes. There’s plenty of time to get some critiques and do your edits, so no excuses!
The contest will run through October 30th, 11:59pm, UTC. Have fun, and good luck!
Prize money for this contest is provided by the Scribophile Writing Contest Prize Fund.
