Your pen name is how you’ll be known around Scribophile. We recommend using your real name or the name you plan to publish under, but you can make a different one up if you want. Pick wisely, because you can’t change it once you’ve signed up.
Your pen name must sound like a complete real name and must be capitalized correctly. We review pen names daily and if yours doesn’t meet our requirements, your account will be immediately closed.
Examples of unacceptable pen names include: writergurl532. Oliver Twist. The Writing Guy. JAMES O'NEAL (Why are you shouting?). jenna franklin (Capitalization!). Mistress Dragonbane. Perennial Publishing. Wild Flower. Phil Paragraph. Crystal Starstrider.
