Mastering Deep PoV

Have you ever felt like you’re hearing a story, but not experiencing it? That’s the feeling you get when the author has failed to establish an effective Point of View. But creating a deep PoV that draws your reader in is a skill you can learn!

Small changes to your manuscript can build up to an enormous impact when you employ deep PoV. It can mean the difference between telling a good story, and making it one your readers will never forget.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how certain words and descriptions can take people out of your character’s heads, and effective techniques that you can apply to develop a PoV that will make your readers ravenous for more.

Join acclaimed author Carly Stevens in this in-depth live online workshop where you’ll get the opportunity to ask questions directly. After the workshop, spend some time applying what you’ve learned to your story, and then submit up to 1,000 words of one of your scenes to get written feedback from Carly on your use of deep PoV!

Whether you write in past or present tense or in first or third person, and whatever your genre is, immersing your readers in a deep PoV is one of the surest ways to develop a memorable narrative.
