Writing a fight scene means more than learning choreography — in fact, describing propulsive, fast-paced action in words is one of the hardest tasks a writer can face!

In this in-depth workshop, acclaimed author Carly Stevens will show you how to put your reader right in the middle of the action. Whether you’re writing soldiers fighting in a war, or a high-fantasy magic and sword fight, or a hard-boiled detective slugging it out with his suspects, or a harrowing escape a deadly alien species, you’ll learn how to leave your readers breathless, immersed in the danger your characters are experiencing.

Carly will cover techniques from stylistic tweaks that pack a punch, to mindset shifts that add realism and personality to the action, and much more.
