Group-Sponsored Cultural Object Contest

Details

Deadline:August 30 (74 days left)
Fee:Free

Diverse Futures is happy to present, with generous financial support from Scribophile and karma donated by Ysobel Black, the Cultural Object Contest. Entries should be 500 word flash fiction about two or more people in conflict over an object or artifact with a special role or significance to your own "cultural background" (however you widely you want to interpret that). As always, we love to see underrepresented characters of all descriptions, and we encourage you to explore your own ethnic, religious or cultural heritage, whatever that might be.

Judges are group member Aden Skye and professional developmental editor Amanda Burton.

Prize money for this contest is provided by the Scribophile Writing Contest Prize Fund.
