Group-Sponsored Steampunk Fairy Tales IV Anthology Contest

Group-Sponsored Steampunk Fairy Tales IV Anthology Contest

Details

Deadline:May 31, 2019
Fee:Free

Over the last three years (since March 2016), the Steampunk Fairy Tales collective have produced three anthologies, with fourteen authors retro-fitting fairy and folk talks from all across the world and its rich history of mythology!

And this time we’re looking for fresh blood and oil for volume floor—so if you like writing short stories, if you like fairy tales, and if you also like steampunk, then you’re come to the right competition.

Send us your best retellings and adaptations of fairy tales, or even original fairy tales—just so long as they incorporate the steampunk elements we all love! You can think beyond corsets, goggles and airships but don’t worry—those things are welcome too; we’re mostly seeking a great balance between the technological and the magical.

If you agree to be published in the anthology you will be giving us first serial rights upon publication.
