Member-Sponsored I Survived Halloween Horror Contest

Details

Deadline:Oct 24, 2023
Fee:Free

I’m looking for Flash Fiction up to 1,000 words that is in the horror genre. I see flash fiction as a complete but short story with a journey arc and a twist ending (twist optional). Therefore, the story you write should have a beginning, middle, and end. If it is a drabble it should be exactly 100 words not including title and please indicate that you intended for it to be a drabble. Use the photo you see in the upper left hand corner as an inspirational prompt but I won’t be looking for all of the elements in the photo. It’s just to spark your imagination and creativity.

Prize money for this contest is provided by the Scribophile Writing Contest Prize Fund.
