Imaginary Friend Poetry Contest is being held in honor of April's National Poetry Month 2015. All poetry forms up to 200 words are welcomed: Traditional, prose, freestyle, Japanese, etc. However, there is an overall theme: Imaginary Friend. Be creative, and above all, have fun. Crafting new works is encourged. Visit our Poetry Lovers group to share the passion, and excitement.

Rules

  • Entries must be received before midnight, Thursday, 30 April 2015 (UTC time) and the winners will be announced on or before 25 May.

  • Entries must be no more than 200 words per Scribophile’s count.

  • Multiple entries are allowed.

  • Work must have Public visibility on Scribophile until a winner is announced

Submission guidelines

  • To enter the contest, post your work on Scribophile and check the box that says "Enter this work into the Member-Sponsored Imaginary Friend Poetry Contest." Your work will automatically be considered.

  • The checkbox will be visible until the contest deadline, which is in UTC time.

  • Entry is free, but you'll need karma points to post your work. You can earn karma points by writing critiques of work by other members.
