Member-Sponsored Musician With A Pen Contest

Details

Deadline:Oct 31, 2013
Fee:1 karma point

This is a two option contest. Not all of us are musicians, so you can choose the one that’s right for you.

Option 1: Take a piece of music from a language you don't understand, and let it inspire a story. You can submit a short story up to 1500 words, or 1500 words of your first chapter of a novel. You can choose the song, but here are a couple that may inspire some of you. You can use anything with vocals you can't understand.

For example, this song or this song.

Option 2: If you're a musician, the challenge is to write your own song, and the story it inspires in you. The song could even be used for a trailer for your story one day.
